Of clowns, cowards, and kings....

Of clowns, cowards, and kings….these things that are most presently observed, these things that trouble my slumber. The clowns who post such subversive and blatantly antagonizing works. The cowards who possess the knowledge and the power of change but refuse to use it. The king whose gall and pride is hastened by his ego and the lack of substantial argument or reasonable debate. (Note: I say REASONABLE debate) With so many voices screaming, protesting, and looting the literary with nonsense and object opposition as to cause them being ridiculed and called irrational, the end is nowhere close to being present.

I once wrote of the nobility and power of the blogger. We, the keepers of words, thoughts, and ideas. We, the practitioners of language arts and proper communication, could bring about such change and influence, but so few choose to see it or use it. Oh gentle beings, men and women of the blogging universe, can you not see the need for such representation, now more than ever? Our president sits in his mighty oval office, making decisions that will impact all of us in one way or another. While some of his promises are being kept, others are not. Commitments made to reduce the burden on taxpayers, to alter the direction of those things making more pauper than nobleman, are being ignored.

It is with sadness that we turn away people with such great need as a refugee, but within the lambs are embedded snakes, snakes who are most desiring of the death of the very people giving them shelter. As the lambs profess their faith and labor to embrace their new benefactors culture, the snakes scatter to dens to make their evil plans and to affect terror on the same benefactors. How do we separate the good from the evil prior to the revelations of their actions? Coming from places that possess neither the knowledge nor the desire to make plain the knowledge of the refugees histories, how can we find out these pasts, these vetted facts that could foretell their actions?

If only one in every ten are violent by their nature, and that one manages to kill or maim even one other freedom loving American, we are still speaking of thousands of innocent deaths. Is that not a consequential fact in the denying of their immigration until such vetting can be done correctly and completely? I am a man of somber and sweet heart and I wish no innocent ill will, but lined up like empty opaque bottles, how can one tell what is inside the bottle until the contents are freed? I digress.

The clowns continue to raze the common sense of the literary, the cowards continue to steer their desires and confessions away from the public eye, and the king sits unconvinced of his egocentric ways. As long as we sit idle and say nothing, as long as we make no reasonable argument for change and allow politicians their wayward course, we are to blame for failures, abuses, and overreactions. Why? Why do we, the roses of logic and hope whither amongst the obnoxious and incorrect weed? I beg of you all one last time, help me form up a garden of common sense and logical discourse.

Help me create a body of rational voices and conscience driven hearts that can be of great power and influence. Help me make, or at least influence, the changes that are necessary for us to survive the future wave of the political maelstrom. This is America. Our politicians are able to read and hear the dissent or the approval of their actions. We can, in those words and actions, sway the politicians in their efforts. Please fellow bloggers, dreamers, and poets….come with me. Let us all be of one voice, or at least one voice made of compromise and wisdom. It is up to you all, and I pray that we all make the right decision before the clowns, cowards, and kings make a future that is beyond reconciliation with humanity.

I absolutely agree with you. If even one radical Muslim gets through, countless innocent people can die. We MUST vet ALL illegals and make certain that they have no intention of harming innocent people. The loonies who protest for open borders are insane, have a death wish, are out of touch with reality and should NOT be taken seriously. Let the loonies be the first ones to be murdered NOT innocent Americans!

and what of the rest of the blog? Is that you’re only concern?

No, it’s not my “ONLY” concern but I didn’t want my comment(s) to be as lengthy as the blog so the deaths of innocent people seemed much more important.

My point is the better we do at keeping people who don’t want to “become Americans” out, the safer those who make it in can feel. I’ve been listening to the Aussie problem with us refusing to take people they refuse to let in… they don’t trust them to set foot on the actual continent & have them rounded up in internment camps… I mean detention centers AND we’re the bad guys for not wanting to take them off their hands & welcome them into the U.S.. In what world is that even remotely good for US? It’s back to the argument that we’re supposed to welcome everyone from Mexico that wants to come, but they never talk about what happens to a US Citizen who illegally crosses into either Mexico or Canada. R E C I P R O C I T Y is the cornerstone of any good “deal.”

You really drove the point home well. It isn’t the responsibility of the US to take the undesirables off the hands of other countries! They can deal with it! Let us tend to other issues here on our own home turf.

We have an obligation to the genuine refugees from our South (Monroe Doctrine to begin with), we caused the narco states that terrorize them… we have an equal obligation to keep the gangs they’re fleeing from entering the US or trafficking humans into the US. I still can’t get my head around how anyone with a college degree thought it was a good idea to sell these gangs military weapons including sniper rifles. Europe can deal with the mess it created in the Mid East & we should get out before any more of it is our fault.

again, I must agree, but I still have greater desire to speed up the method by which LEGAL immigrants enter and become citizens.

I favor bringing them into what are abandoned military bases & vetting them here & dealing with the "throwbacks as we get enough of them to fill a plane to wherever they came from OR whatever nation will take them… if no place will take them & they are guilty of violent felonies in the US, take em out over the pacific garbage patch & toss em from a C-137 at about 20,000 feet. As much as 37% of our prison population are in our prisons because their countries won’t take them back.
            .
Back to the welcome refugees… they’d get English classes, they’d get fed & medically cleared, if they are then welcomed they’d get relocated to a place where their skills are most welcome. All in the safety of a secure facility where the cartels shouldn’t be able to exploit them.

This may be similar to the Mariel boat lift. If I recall correctly, a good number of the 100k+ refugees were housed in one of the stadiums. The influx of this many refugees wreaked havoc on south Florida. The refugees were not properly vetted, and that became quite apparent.
Funding from the federal government was grossly insufficient.

Let’s house, feed and educate our own homeless first. When we get done with that, there’s still plenty to be done with our hard earned tax dollars right here.

There are tent cities in Iraq, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. They can be housed in these places until such vetting is completed.

Um, I was talking about our Southern neighbors not those from nations on the EO list. There’s no reason to ship them there & the issue that has them sneaking across the border is they are not safe on the border or at home & they’re not welcome in Mexico. The Monroe Doctrine states we’ll see to the Americas & Europe can stay out of it. We created the narco states in our fight against the spread of communism & we armed the cartels with Fast & Furious as the latest in that shameful reality. The people fleeing the narcos are our responsibility, those Fleeing Islamism are not, not even the Christians. We have too much on our plate as it is.

The ones from south of the border are a seperate issue all together. I say let them stay where they are until they are vetted fully as other immigrants do, or at least until they get their green cards. It is time to not fully close our borders, but to heavily restrict the immigrant flow.

The issue to me is lawlessness. They aren’t called “illegal” aliens for nothing. Just as there are illegal murderers, rapist, child abductors, molesters, robbers, home invaders, thieves, drug dealers among others they are ALL criminals. There should be no coddling, condoning, excusing, justifying or allowing criminals in a free society. To excuse criminality is to excuse chaos and anarchy.
