NOW they want him to quit...

Stop the presses! Stop the Donald! WHAT HAVE WE DONE? Yeah, the suffragists are all taking the whips to their backs now, saying Donald Trump should quit the race, that he should abandon his campaign. Why? Is this not the man you shoved down our throats? Is this not the man so many have touted as honest, open minded, clear speaking? IS THIS NOT THE MAN YOU VOTED FOR IN THE PRIMARY? No, the GOP put a nag in the race, and now that he is embarrassing them, they want him out. They want him to stop being the man they wanted.

Did no one see this coming? Hasn’t anyone else listened to him on the morning talk shows, interviews, or ever watched his reality show? He is being Donald Trump. He says he’s “smart” because he used bankruptcy laws to evade paying taxes for years. He used those same loopholes to squeeze the lemon called Atlantic City dry of its cash and then left town. He uses those same loopholes when he gets divorced to avoid paying his ex-wives anything. The man is a bombastic, arrogant, narcissistic asshole who thinks that his fifth grade vocabulary will carry him.

Donald Trump IS a success, but unfortunately his success comes at a cost. Ask the workers at the casinos he’s closed, ask the construction companies who built the casinos, ask the mayor and the townspeople of Atlantic City. He speaks his mind and he gets away with it because, just as Killary has her die-hard fans who will forgive anything, so does Donald. Women in Donalds life come in two forms….the ones who have benefitted from knowing him (made money or fame off of him) or those who did not. The ones who did will always swear he’s the nicest guy…never bite the hand that feeds you.

No, the GOP has a black eye, and they are looking for a remedy to erase the bruise. TOO LATE! Donald can’t back out now. Nominations are closed, money spent, ballots printed, and the machines are being programmed and delivered to voting places. You can’t just run three quarters of the game, and then when it starts turning bad yell “DO OVER”. This is not a game of hide and seek, or Chutes and ladders. This is the big game, this is the enchilada of politics, this is the Grand Masters of elections…you can’t just walk out.

I told you all months ago that Donald was not the one. I was laughed at, criticized, and berated because I did not want to vote for the belligerent millionaire. Everyone laughs when I suggest Donald is a shill for Hillary, giving her no viable competition when the election comes round. Everyone except those who kept their eyes from the sun we call the political hard sell. They sold you a bill of goods. A rubber nose with a big plastic mustache on it, and now you have to wear it, and many are now saying they don’t want to.

Men with less colorful backgrounds had plans. They had dreams and strategies to get America back in the black and on a straight course again, but the “outspoken and honest” Donald killed them all off, mostly because he had more to spend. Now he’s shooting himself in the foot. Again..Hillary and he were always and still are friends. Three weeks after Hillary wins this election, she and Donald will be sitting in a fancy restaurant somewhere tipping back champagne and toasting their success. They duped the nation. They lied, swindled, obfuscated, deleted, repeated, and completed all they had to in order to gain the most important office in the nation.

Yeah, I’m writing this like the election is already over, and that’s because it is. The media has hid all of Hillarys darkest moments and failings. Hillary has ducked the press and the public, and The Donald has cleared the path long enough that a Hillary win is in sight. If you can’t see this, then you are as blind as the proverbial bat. Helen Keller could have seen this coming. The situation in Mudville is looking grim folks, and Casey is home playing with his bat. Gary Johnson and Jill Stein stand no chance in Hell of beating Hillary, so here we are.

Right before the nuclear heat wave hits following the explosion of a nuclear device, there’s a small “poof” kind of event that begins the nuclear chain. The bomb falls to a certain altitude, “poof” goes the inner casing, then “whoom” the nuclear bomb goes off killing everything in its waves path. The heat wave burns flesh and kills organisms. The force of the wave knocks down buildings, destroys most things standing. Well, we have witnessed the “poof”. On election day, well get the heat wave after Killary wins.

Four more years of Obama style policies and failures, four more years of Benghazis and deleted emails. Four years of tax and trade policies created to pay back the Donald for getting Hillary elected. Yup. I hate to say it GOP, but you lost this one, and you did it to yourself. You held the knife to your own throat and went for the jugulars. Congratulations GOP and Trumpeteers….you’ve steered the bus right for the cliff, ala Thelma and Louise, and we are going over. Enjoy your hard bought loss. Me…I will stand in my darkened corner, eating my moon pie and drinking my chocolate milk watching the carnage saying “I told you so”.

I think the Republicans are getting exactly what the party wants but, not their membership. The party wants Hillary, their scions are all vocally voting for her & have endorsed her from quietly to explicitly since Jeb got out & Mamma Bush told him he should get out, publicly. She’s an extension of the Bush Doctrine as it has been implemented since sometime in Reagan’s 2nd term, NWO. She’s so toxic “WE” chose Obama over her, so the powers that be have given us the only person who is arguably more toxic than she. I don’t think he is but, the margins are far too close. It’s just that as much as he’s abused those he’s done business with & those who’ve gotten in his way, as CEO & Chairman of Trump Enterprises it’s his obligation to use the law & all the loopholes he might find to maximize profits, being an inconsiderate ass IS part of that job description. It’s not the job description for a President but, the near monomaniacal dedication to the interests of the middle class is, if the middle class prospers everyone prospers. Everything Hillary has done & been accused of with substantial circumstantial & even some empirical evidence… all of it has been while she was supposed to be serving the public interest. She’s failed us as a public servant, he’s exploited us & our vices as a businessman. There’s little difference there but, it weighs out in his favor by the barest of margins.
    .
    … then there’s Gary.

Best qualified for the specific things we need to concern ourselves with most when it comes to our competitiveness in an increasingly competitive global market, securing our borders & helping states improve their education systems from the bottom up. When it comes to the question of character, there simply is no question. It’s arguable that the only reason Trump has yet to abuse the public trust is simply because he hasn’t had enough access to it, he has after all abused the trust of everyone else that’s gotten into bed with him, except maybe his current wife.

The only choice for any meaningful tax reform as well.

I know it still has bugs in it, but I still favor a flat tax, INCLUDING taxes on capital gains when they are taken as salary.

        1. Munkyman

It’s easy to favor because it’s simple & nearly impossible to avoid or dive through a loophole. The issue is that it always weighs heavier on the poor because a far higher percentage of their income is non discretionary spending. You have to account for that & scale is the only way to do so. When you look at most loopholes they reward some form of behavior, they are behavior modification levers & thus arguably unConstitutional as an illegal exertion of force. You can do scale & still get rid of loopholes, deductions & hit Warren Buffett for his real tax burden all using a tax code nearly identical to that the Founders instituted to levy taxes on commerce. The rates on that scale need to fluctuate according to our debt & deficits.

If 5/8 of the profits from a catch went to the crew then the boat got a tax advantage on the catch for engaging in what was considered responsible commerce. it was used to stimulate a fishing industry under siege from the British Navy.

I disagree… I think the Repub establishment did that, perhaps it is Trump simply pissing on the grave of the GOP establishment. lol, the GOP has developed a knack in the last 20 years of self defeating, self injury themselves… with the mentality of Repub establishment beliefs over people, God or country. And worse yet, they never learn from their mistakes, and the dems roll in and cash in on their stupidity as a result. I may not be a dem, but I respect the hell out of ’em on how their “war machine” gets things done.

      1. rebecca2013

ehhhhh He is his worse enemy Now he is fighting a two front war… one against the Democrats and one against the GOP…. no one wins a two front war…. just ask Hitler….

        October 12, 2016
        1. knights68

Sure, the GOP is their own worse enemy… but the saddest part is that they never ever seem to learn. Then they botch and moan when they are in the minority, and even then they do not parlay it into an advantage like the Dems do.

Indeed, but we have to survive four years with whoever wins. It’s going to be a rough ride.

          October 15, 2016
          1. rebecca2013

if he wins we may not have 4 years to survive… he has said more that a few times… he would nuke the Middle East….

We apparently bombed Yemen in response to a threat to our Navy, and he’s not into office yet. Putin says if Hillary wins, it’s war. No matter where we turn it seems trouble is a’brewin.

            2. rebecca2013

Putin is shaking in his boots and it shows as commented by our intelligence community… he is scared SH**less that Hillary WILL win… Trump he can control easily… not so much her…. but you are right…. it is a mess…. one must hope for rational decisons

              October 19, 2016
            3. timholzbaur

Where politicians walk, weeds are bound to grow. Where partisanship exists, walls will be built. Where egos and power corrupt, governments will fall.

      October 15, 2016
      1. harlequine

No, I disagree with you there! Where politicians walk, life dies slowly, hope shatters into splinters of glass upon which the little people will have to walk and the future of countries crumbles… Nothing can grow aside from bank accounts where politicians go! And it’s always the wrong bank account growing!

It’s not doom and gloom, it’s the sad truth in this sad world nowadays… To think that once upon a time politicians were people with dreams and ambitions for their people, now they’re liars hell bent on destructions so long as they get rich and famous, they don’t care anymore….

He has the vocabulary of a five year old, the mentality of a bombastic goon, and the personality of a rock through a plate glass window. He is hostile and lacks clear vision. I am at a loss this election. I am doing a write in. Thrown away or not, I can honestly say “it’s not my president. I didn’t vote for him (or her)”.

I never really wished anyone wrong. But I am totally hoping in a few years time Donald Trump loses all his business partners and ends up in huge debt situation where he won’t be able to escape ever again. People like that don’t deserve to be rich.

    October 09, 2016
    1. timholzbaur

The Donald has a knack for squirming out of trouble, usually using loopholes entirely legal and profitable for him. The only effect this election will have on him is a tax write off next year.

And we would all win if he does that. Let’s see, if Donald wins, we lose Al Sharpton, Half the hosts on The View, Jesse Jackson, Kanye West, and a slew of others. If Hillary wins we lose Donald. Hmmmmmmm……..

  8. GovMisdirection

A great indictment of Trump, you should be running the FBI. The conclusion did lack the contradictory zinger. The GOP today is not much more than an envious little brother to the socialist-democrats and have lost any credibility to represent patriot Americans. As we all know, Trump’s appeal was that a non-politician stepped forward to shout out that he was going to make a common sense attempt to correct the corrupted government and the assault on the Constitution.
You may have tried too hard to pin Trump on the GOP, they did all they could to torpedo their own candidate! They GOP has shown themselves only to represent the DC establishment. Outsiders not welcomed.
I never liked Trump but we know what we will get with Hillary. With Trump, we can see we will be getting someone who seems to be used to working within the law and using the ‘laws’ to reach his goals. With Hillary, we would be getting a career corrupt liar/politician who has an attitude of being above the law and ignores them.
Trump is all we have at this late stage of the game. For those who hang their vote on one point to steer their vote, the one last night should be that Trump is going to see that Hillary is going down for her crimes.

    October 10, 2016
    1. timholzbaur

I find it dubious that Trump will go after Hillary if he is elected. These folk used to be friends, right up to two years ago. The GOP has certainly done its share to sink Trump, but this hollow “we need to vote for a woman president” is resonating with women and Hillarys supporters don’t care what she’s done.

      October 15, 2016
      1. belladora

Don’t hold it against her because she is a woman. Someone has to do it.

        October 19, 2016
        1. timholzbaur

She is a woman, and that is not a good enough reason to vote for her. Now if she looked like Melania…..

          October 19, 2016
          1. belladora

Now, that is funny. No, it isn’t a reason to vote for her nor is it a reason to not vote for her.

            October 19, 2016
        2. Munkyman

No one’s holding her gender against her, if it were on the list at all it’d be number 21 on the Top 20. It’s that she’s her & that so many are falling for the it’s about time plea, as if it’s ever time for the democratic election of someone that corrupt regardless of their race or gender. We could really use Condi right about now.

          October 19, 2016
          1. timholzbaur

            Amen. I’d vote for Condi.

Condi has the one thing we need most in the realm of foreign policy. A deep understanding of the USSR, Russia & the Post Soviet thing that is Putin’s “regime.”

            2. Munkyman

I doubt she’ll ever run, I think Sec. of State was as hot a chair as she ever wants & never wants again.

              October 19, 2016
          2. belladora

Ok, just checking Condi is a brilliant woman. Thanks for clarifying.

            October 19, 2016
            1. Munkyman

Hillary is just a terrible person & she’s proven herself unworthy of the public trust again & again. She’s so bad that Trump seems acceptable to otherwise reasonable people.
